This is a simple problem but tricky. let's do it 

Step 1. 

Take a section x-x on the PQ member, and draw the free body diagram

Here, Suppose the force in PQ member is V KN, and Take the length of the cantilever is L 

Step 2. 

Find out the deflection in Point Q

As per the principle of superposition, 

            

        Upward deflection = Downward Deflection 

              

Step 3.  Put the given data 

Step 4. hence the force in the member PQ is = 50 KN.

Answer A is correct.
